You would think this cute boy could never take a dump in the bathtub, right? Certainly not twice in a row? You would be wrong.
Things are good! I finished my first class in my graduate program and while I loved it, it’s nice to have some free time again. I am using it to get a lot of random things done (like buying Christmas presents) since my next class goes up until a few weeks from my due date.
Henry is great. He is either the happiest, cutest kid ever or a giant ball of inconsolable misery. There is not much in between. We are going on our second flight with him over Labor Day – very nervous but hoping for the best.
I’m 22 weeks now and effing enormous. Despite eating far better than last time, I’m right on track for another 55 pound gain. (Nine pounds in four weeks.) Oh well. As long as the baby is okay and I can lose it like last time, it’s totally fine, right?
hurray for humming along at 22 weeks! rpl, what’s that? and i say live large, mama. if you get to be pregnant, might as well be effing PREGNANT. so unimportant in the big scheme of things, eh? (says the girl who everyone at work keeps now saying is “so BIG!”)
but a big ol’ boo on the pooping thing. yeah.

Gotta love the extremes of toddler moods! I’m so happy your pregnancy is so uneventful– I gained a lot of weight too (and lost it), and I agree that it’s miserable to be pregnant AND fat, but it SOOOO doesn’t matter in the end.
My sister in law told me once that it helps to see life for a toddler as a tragic opera. So true!

Oh no pooping in the tub! That is kind of my big fear, as it just seems like a pain to deal with. But awesome that you are 22 weeks and all goes well. Seriously wonderful.

That is so fuuny. My 18 month old would do that all the time. Seriously like 15 or so times. We seem to have grown out of it. It was like the pool scene out of caddy shack. My 5 year old would jump up trying to get out of the tub. Then i had to do the bleach process. Ugh
